3. Ovalteam - *DennFree : Vocals. Other specific
personnel information has been requested through the Freedom From

actually recorded in 1984, with presidential participation added

4. Jumping to Contusions - A *James Norton tune written
for saxophone quartet. James is a mentor and an inspiration, both
as a composer and multi-instrumentalist. DennFree : Alto and tenor

5. Rosa's Park - A short history of the American
Civil Rights Movement, and a tribute to the success of non-violent
social action as a tool for positive change. That courageous struggle
is the very template needed for the struggle that lies ahead.

I've never been. The lyrics were inspired by friend and Belizian
patriot Troy Obando. The song is dedicated to George Price, a

8. Oy, Doina - A Klezmer composition written
by *Barbara Damaschek for the Oregon Shakespeare Festivals' production
of 'Vilna's Got A Golam' in 1998. This particular piece opened

9. Last Writes For Brother John - A catharsis
written the day after John Lennons death and recorded that same
month (Dec. 1980). Dedicated to a best friend I never met . *DennFree

10. Dance of Anger & Reconciliation - A
traditional eastern European Klezmer piece recorded for the film
'Children of Abraham' , a documentary on the practice of 'Compassionate
Listening'. This technique, employed by an American group in meetings
with Jews and Palestinians in the middle east, gives strong evidence
for the possibility of peaceful resolution to long held predjudices.

11. When Life Gives You Lemmings...- Kickin'
it in the promised land (Oh,Ya!). Same personnel and studio as

12. Inner Sun - A gentle psychedelic east-west
confluence that invites a look within. Recorded in 1976 with same
composers, personnel and studio as track #6 (- violin).
13. Kobyachi Devours Godzilla - We all want
peace of mind, but who wants to do the real work? The search for
the meaning on a planet that allows human starvation on a grand
scale, while giving the God treatment to a man who can down 53+
hotdogs in twelve minutes for the 'sport' of it. Set to a rhythm

18. Egg Sit - *DennFree: Baritone Sax. Every
beginning has a necessary end, and so now, with the curtain closing
on this labor of love adventure, perhaps it is time to stop the
escape and intensify the search for that which has no beginning
or end........like a bird sitting on an egg and waiting with infinite
patience, to hatch itself.
